Educational Qualification
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
- OR 10+2 with 45% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed. (as per NCTE norms 2002)
- OR 10+2 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed.
- OR 10+2 with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- OR Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Must have passed CTET (Paper I) conducted by CBSE
- Must have studied Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at Secondary level
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- SC/ST: +5 years | OBC: +3 years | PwBD: 10–15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Service + 3 years (up to 55 years)
- DOE Contractual/Guest Teachers: One-time relaxation up to 5 years
