🎓 Eligibility (Essential)

Educational Qualification: Post-graduate degree in the concerned subject AND B.Ed. (or equivalent) where specified (NCTE recognised). See Appendix for subject-wise essential & preferential qualifications.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years as on 01 July 2025 (category relaxations apply; PH upper limit is different — see notification).
Preferences: Territorial Army / NCC 'B' certificate holders may be given preference as per rules.

📝 Exam Pattern — Key Points

Preliminary Examination will be held at various district centres in U.P.; admit cards (e-Admit) will show date & centre.
Selection to Main (Written) exam is via performance in Preliminary — shortlisted candidates will fill a new application for Main.
Negative marking rules and minimum qualifying standards apply (see notification — e.g., minimum efficiency standard: Gen 40%, SC/ST 35%).

Proceed to fee payment (SBI MOPS options available). After successful payment download/print the Payment Transaction Slip.
Take a final print of the submitted application and keep copies of all supporting documents; originals may be required at verification stage.
