🎓 Educational Qualification
- Essential Qualification: A graduate degree from a university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Candidates must possess the required qualification at the time of applying. Candidates who are "Appearing" or "Appeared" in the qualifying exam are not eligible.
- Preferential (tie-breaker) qualifications: DOEACC/NIELIT 'O' level certificate, minimum two years service in Territorial Army, or NCC 'B' certificate (if applicable).

⌛ Age Limit & Relaxation
- Age as on 01.07.2025.
- Basic age range: 21 to 28 years (i.e. date of birth should not be before 02.07.1997 and not after 01.07.2004) for Sub-Inspector & equivalent posts.
- Age relaxations as per rules: SC/ST +5 years, OBC +3 years, UP state employees +5 years, Ex-Servicemen etc. Additionally, Government of UP has granted a one-time extra 3-year relaxation for this recruitment (Order dated 26.05.2025). 🧠 Written Examination — Pattern & Minimum Marks
The written exam will be for a total of 400 marks, consisting of 4 sections of 100 marks each (objective type):
Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes). Total questions: 160. Each question has four options (OMR-based). Minimum qualifying marks: 35% in each section and 50% overall. Failing to meet these norms will make the candidate ineligible for further selection stages.
🧾 Document Verification & Physical Standards
Document Verification
- Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for document verification and physical standards tests. Board will notify the list and schedule on its website.
- Original certificates will be verified — any discrepancy or false document will lead to disqualification and legal action.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male: 4.8 km run to be completed within 28 minutes.
- Female: 2.4 km run to be completed within 16 minutes.
- Failing PET will result in elimination from the selection process.
📂 Documents & Upload Requirements
- Applicants must upload educational certificates, reservation certificates, age-relaxation proofs, domicile proofs and other required documents. Prefer using Digilocker where available.
- If a document is not available in Digilocker, upload scanned copies in the prescribed format.
- Real-time photograph: A live webcam photo will be captured during application. No caps/uniforms/masks; face must be clearly visible; avoid glare/reflections on spectacles.
- Signature: Scan signature on white paper in black ink, JPG/JPEG format, recommended size ~30–50 KB and dimensions approx. 50mm x 20mm.

- Complete OTR (One Time Registration) first: otr.pariksha.nic.in.
- Login to UPPRPB website (uppbpb.gov.in) with OTR credentials and fill the "Sub-Inspector & Equivalent" application form.
- Upload live photo (webcam), scanned signature and required documents (prefer Digilocker uploads).
- Pay the application fee online (debit/credit/netbanking/UPI) and submit the form. Print the confirmation & fee receipt.
- Only the last submitted application will be considered if multiple submissions are made — so submit carefully.

- Provision of false information or fake/forged documents at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidature and legal action.
- Board decisions are final and binding. The Board does not engage in personal correspondence — all updates will be published on the official website.
- Biometric verification (photo, fingerprint/iris) and Aadhaar-based e-KYC will be used to prevent impersonation.
- Reservation claims must be supported by valid certificates issued by competent authorities and uploaded by the application last date (11.09.2025).
